How Color-on 2K Works
Color-on 2K is a true two-component polyurethane in one aerosol. The isocyanate hardener sits in a sealed cylinder at the base of the can and stays separate from the resin until you activate it.
- Clean the surface. Degrease and key the area to be repaired.
- Activate. Take the red button from the top cap and press it firmly onto the pin at the bottom of the can. This releases the hardener into the resin.
- Shake for at least two minutes so the hardener and resin mix fully.
- Spray thin coats, allowing 10–15 minutes of flash-off between coats.

Where plants use it
In-plant touch-up on automotive and auto-component lines, rework of painted parts at final inspection, and repairs on parts that see fuel, solvents or outdoor exposure, where a 1K acrylic touch-up would soften or fade.
Safety
2K paint contains isocyanates. Spray in a ventilated area and wear a suitable respirator, gloves and eye protection.
